Three Channel Video Installation

Currently in production, Bathtub Street Painting is a three-channel video installation that originated during a 2022 residency at Cité des Arts, Paris. Conceived as a response to the escalating social pressures and visibility of suicide within Turkey’s queer community, the work weaves together the inner voices of three distinct characters. The installation structurally manipulates these isolated monologues—first presenting them sequentially, then simultaneously—to reveal how solitary expressions of queer loneliness can transform into a collective, resonant dialogue, exploring the theoretical and aesthetic boundaries between the singular voice and shared experience.
